The living room area was too cold to use during our stay. The parking surface was rough due to ongoing refurbishments, making it less convenient. Limited amenities available at night, as the restaurant downstairs closed early, left no options for late arrivals.

I was quite taken aback by the freezing cold room, absolutely no heating, yet somehow expected to enjoy my stay. It woudl ve been nice to receive a complimentary gesture for the inconvenience. let's not forget the restaurant staff were barely around, with no way to voice my concerns. I almost wanted to give a good review, but just couldn’t.

I was pleasantly surprised by the warm electric heaters that kept our room cozy during our stay. The Ranch restaurant downstairs had a delightful atmosphere and served a generous breakfast, featuring delicious porridge. Plus, a lovely garden area provided an excellent outdoor space for relaxation and fun!

we had a lovely stay at the old bank house hotel. the owner was really warm and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised by the garden space for kids and how comfy our room was. breakfast was solid with a nice variety, and the views of gorey harbour were great. plus, the location was fab, just a short walk to the beach and village. definitely worth the money and perfect for a chill getaway!

the shower could be a lil unpredictable at times and the living area was a bit chilly overall.

Be sure to ask about the electric heating if staying in colder months to ensure a cozy stay!

Got a lekker brekkie every morning and the staff were super friendly—proper chommies! The location’s tops, just a quick walk to the beach and chill spots. Gardens were pretty sweet for a kuier with the kids!
